Provided by AGPAnadolu Agency reported that Israeli settlers forced their way into the village of Jurish and the town of Aqraba in southern Nablus, hurling stones at Palestinian homes and physically assaulting residents.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society confirmed its medical crews treated two women following the assault in Jurish — a 35-year-old pregnant woman and a 65-year-old — both injured in the settler attack.
In the central West Bank, settlers descended on the village of Deir Jarir in eastern Ramallah, sparking clashes after Israeli forces entered the area in a protective escort of the settlers, sources said. Soldiers discharged live fire during the incursion, striking one Palestinian man in the foot, while several other residents were taken into custody.
Israeli forces separately raided the city of Al-Bireh near Ramallah, surrounding a fuel station at its northern entrance and detaining three young Palestinians found on the premises. Troops also confiscated surveillance footage recorded by the station's security cameras, local sources said.
In the Jalazone refugee camp north of Ramallah, soldiers fanned out across several neighborhoods during a concurrent raid, though no arrests were reported.
South of Ramallah, troops stormed the town of Beit Ummar north of Hebron, discharging tear gas that left dozens of residents suffering from respiratory distress.
In Bethlehem, Israeli forces raided a wedding hall in the town of Doha to the city's west, cordoning off the surrounding streets with no arrests made.
The occupied West Bank has experienced a sustained surge in violence since Israel launched its war on the Gaza Strip in October 2023, encompassing killings, mass detentions, home demolitions, and accelerated settlement expansion, Palestinian officials say. Official Palestinian figures place the death toll across the territory at no fewer than 1,155 since that point, with approximately 11,750 wounded and nearly 22,000 arrested.
